For those of you who weren't done your definitions from today... here you go! Please remember to add an example for each one.
Multiple Start at a number, then count on by that number to get the multiples of that number. Common multiple A multiple of two or more numbers. Prime number A whole number with exactly 2 factors, 1 and itself. Composite number A number with more than 2 factors. Factor Numbers that are multiplied to get a product are factors. For example, in 3 x 7 = 21, the factors of 21 are 3 and 7. Common factor A number that is a factor of each of the given numbers. For example, 3 is a common factor of 15, 9 and 21.
